The 17th-seeded Seahawks (3-14) scored the winning run in the top of the eighth inning to clinch the Class C South play-in game against the 16th-seeded Rebels (3-14) in Bethel.
Eli Wager scored the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly from Maddox Cusumano.
Cusumano led Boothbay/Wiscasset with two RBIs and three hits. Finn Harkins collected two singles and an RBI. Jordan Carrier also notched an RBI for the Seahawks.
The Seahawks scored a run in the first, two more in the second inning and one in the seventh inning.
Telstar rallied in the seventh inning with four runs. Cameron Palmer collected a two-run double in the inning while Evan Leach drove in another run. Colby Hastings also hit a double for the Rebels.
Gryffin Kristan started for Boothbay, going six innings, striking out nine and allowing three runs on four hits. Liam Thomas earned the win in relief, going two innings, striking out three, while allowing a run on two hits.
