The visiting Rams (1-0) opened with a seven-run first and went on to defeat the Mustangs (1-1) in Waterboro.
Andi Cloutier had three hits, including a home run, with four RBI, while Sawyer VonderHaar, who also homered, and Sophia DiPhillippo each drove in two runs for Gorham.
Makayla Quintal added three hits, and Winnie Dubail and Kyleah Mack each finished with a pair of hits, and combined for five runs and two RBI.
Amber Bretton and Mack combined on a one-hitter with eight strikeouts.
