Lucas Martin finished off a hat trick in the third period, and Sean Allen added two goals and assist as the Rangers (8-2) defeated the Capers (1-8) at Troubh Ice Arena.
Tucker Goddu’s shutout bid was broken up by Brendan Eavenson’s unassisted goal early in the third period. Goddu finished with 14 saves, while Nathan Hanisko made 51 saves for Cape.
