The Red Eddies (3-4) scored early and often to take down the Cougars (3-3) in Auburn.
Drew Smith pitched six innings, giving up three hits and striking out nine batters for Edward Little in the win. TJ Kramarz pitched in the seventh inning, shutting the door on Mt. Blue with three strikeouts.
Patrick Anthoine notched two doubles in the win, which saw the Red Eddies score two runs apiece in the first and second innings, three in the third and their final run in the fourth
Evan Downing took the loss on the mound and Nolan Leso had a double for the Cougars, who scored all of their runs in the top of the fourth.
