OCEANSIDE 3, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: The Mariners (3-4) took the lead for good on an RBI double from Alex Bartlett to score Austin Chilles and Duncan Oakes-Nelson plated Bartlett with a run scoring single as they outlasted the Eagles (1-6) at Newcastle.
Maddox Talis scored on a throwing error for Lincoln Academy in the bottom of the second inning, but Oceanside pulled even on Connor Calderwood’s RBI double in the top of the fifth.
