The Phoenix (2-2) used a balanced offensive attack to take down the Falcons (1-3) in Rumford.
Five Spruce Mountain — Max Labonte, Isaac Parker, Eli Moffitt, Nate Holland and Elie Timler — recorded two hits each. The Phoenix grabbed the elad with a seven-run fourth inning. Griffin Achorn, who came in to pitch in the fourth inning, earned the win on the mound.
Mountain Valley’s Jakob LaPointe tallied four hits, including two doubles.
