The Roadrunners (3-0) scored eight runs in the fourth inning and ended the game in the bottom of the sixth by pulling out to a 10-run cushion over the Rebels (1-3) in Salem.
Kaden Pillsbury had two hits, three RBIs and scored two runs for Mt. Abram, and also pitched an inning of relief of starter Adam Luce, who scattered three hits and struck out six. Cam Grey also had two hits, including a double, and collected two RBIs and two runs scored.
Brody Walker had two of the four Telstar hits and drove in the Rebels’ lone run.
