The Phoenix plated 13 runs in the first inning to pull away early from the Purple Panthers in Jay.
Spruce Mountain (4-1) added seven runs in the second inning. Rylee Turner and Jazmine Pingree each tallied two hits and Samantha Hodgkin had a double.
Turner and Hodgkin each pitched an inning and allowed a hit. Turner also struck out three batters.
