The Broncos (7-3) matched the Red Eddies’ (6-5) four-run top of the eighth with four runs in the bottom of the frame for the walk-off win in Hampden.
It was a slugfest for both teams, with Catarina Facchini homering for Hampden. Kiera Gabric had two doubles and Makayla Shaw hit one.
Izzy Jalbert finished a home run shy of the cycle for Edward Little, with a triple, double and single. Naomi Valcin, Kylee Lebrun, Tiana Avila, Nellie Feeney and Leah Thibodeau also doubled, with Avila matching Jalbert’s three-hit output.
