Devin Bryant, Spruce Mountain’s No. 9 hitter, had two hits in the Phoenix’s (9-1) win over the Cougars (5-2) in Dixfield.
Jaydn Pingree doubled and drove in two runs. Rylee Turner allowed three hits and didn’t issue a walk in seven innings. She struck out four batters.
Nikole Turnbull, Aleiah Ward and Abby Luczynski had the hits for Dirigo. Lana Waite pitched a complete game, allowing six hits and two earned runs while striking out 13.
