Austin West rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns and also passed for a touchdown, and Kennebunk broke open a close game in the second half as it pulled away for a 35-13 victory over Massabesic in an interclass football game Saturday at Kennebunk.

The game was tied 7-7 at halftime, but Class B Kennebunk (4-0) took control with three straight touchdowns in the third quarter.

West scored on runs of 46, 67 and 3 yards and tossed a 28-yard TD pass to Jaiden Homa. Homa threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to quarterback Sam Matthews, who was 7 of 8 passing for 95 yards. Homa caught six passes for 71 yards.

Class A Massabesic dropped to 1-3.
