Dylan Gendron and Ryan Alexander combined for 44 points, including seven 3-pointers, and the Spartans (9-0) downed the Trojans (7-3) in Saco.
Gendron (23 points) boosted the Spartans to a 20-12 lead with 10 points in the first quarter. Alexander contributed 17 second-half points, including four 3-pointers.
De’Shaun Alston led Thornton with 23 points. Simon Gellis followed with 15.
