Dylan Gendron scored 31 points, and the Spartans (13-1) withstood a big comeback by the Rams (3-11) in Portland.
Deering erased almost all of a 19-point deficit, closing to within 47-46 late in the third quarter before Sanford pulled away for good.
Ryan Alexander added 14 points for Sanford, with four 3-pointers, and Bryce Adams scored 11.
Deering was paced by Rayan Mohamed with 24 points. Michel Butera scored 11 and Excellent Uwizeye had nine.
