Kai Dougher scored 12 of his 28 points in the third quarter, fueling a 31-13 surge that carried Spruce Mountain to a 63-41 win over Mountain Valley in a Class C South boys basketball game Tuesday night in Jay.
Dylan Jewett added 16 points for the Phoenix (12-2), who led 24-22 at halftime.
Dylan Theriault led Mountain Valley (3-11) with 14 points, followed by Blake Small with 11.
