Caleb Racicot scored six of his 11 points in overtime, and Bonny Eagle overcame a 41-point performance by Windham’s Tyrie James to beat the state’s top-ranked boys basketball team, prevailing 83-75 in a Class A South game Tuesday night in Standish.
Windham (13-2) erased an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit, sparked by 14 points from James. But a 3-pointer by Racicot helped Bonny Eagle (9-6) regain the upper hand in overtime, and Lucas Klehn clinched the victory with four free throws.
Five players scored in double figures for Bonny Eagle: Max Bouchard (18 points), Benedito Noe (13), Colin Moran (11), Racicot (11) and Trevor Quincannon (10). Klehn finished with nine.
Colin Janvrin and AJ Moody each had 11 points for Windham.
