The Eagles pulled away in the third quarter and rolled to a season-opening win over the Trojans in Windham.
Marley Jarvais scored 20 points and Mackenzie Delewski added 16 for Windham, which outscored Thornton 19-9 in the third quarter.
Maise McIntosh had 12 points for the Trojans.
