The fifth-seeded Mustangs (12-7) held the fourth-seeded Hawks (12-7) to two points in the second quarter and led the rest of the way in a Class C South quarterfinal in Augusta.
Mt. View trailed 16-12 after the first eight minutes, but the Mustangs outscored Sacopee 12-2 in the second quarter.
Brady Bryant paced the Mustangs with 15 points. Stuart Knowlton finished with 13 and nine rebounds.
Sacopee’s Payton Young scored 15 points, all on 3-pointers. Travis Brassard got nine of his 13 points in the first quarter.
