It was a two-man attack for the third-seeded Black Bears (15-4), as Gage Mattson and Jack Fontaine each scored 28 points in a Class C South quarterfinal victory over the sixth-seeded Flyers (9-9) at the Augusta Civic Center.
Mattson did most of his work inside the paint. Fontaine knocked down three 3-pointers.
JJ Carlo matched Mattson and Fontaine with 28 points, and Jed Alsup finished with 20 for Waynflete.
