Rhett Tyson scored 29 points to lead the second-seeded Breakers (13-4) to a dominant win over the No. 7 Lakers (3-15) in a Class S South quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center.
Rangeley stayed with Pine Tree through the first quarter, after which the Breakers held a 17-13 lead. But Pine Tree limited the Lakers to 19 points the rest of the way.
Lucky Kabeya (17 points), Colby Solberg (13) and Benjamin Christman (10) also scored in double figures for Pine Tree.
Kaysyn Woike paced the Lakers with 11 points and Sam Morrill added eight points.
Pine Tree will face No. 3 Forest Hills (13-6) in the semifinals on Tuesday.
