Emma Boulette hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the third quarter to help the Blue Blazes (12-7) break open a close game against the Mustangs (5-14) in a Class A South prelim in Westbrook.

Westbrook, the No. 6 seed, advances to play No. 3 South Portland in the quarterfinals at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Portland Expo.

Lyla Dunphe scored all nine of her points in the second half as the Blue Blazes outscored the Mustangs 32-8. Boulette finished with 14 points and Hattie Clark had 12.

Siena Carbone tallied eight points for 11th-seeded Massabesic.
