Sacopee Valley (3-1) scored five runs in the first inning, then held on to defeat the Flyers (2-2) at Hiram.

Freshman Keegan Day went 2 for 3, including a triple, and drove in two runs. Tanner Hale, Owen Barsanti and Donovan Harvey also drove in runs.
