Trot Moody pitched a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts, and Wes Gallant hit a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh inning as the Seagulls (5-0) defeated the Hawks (6-3) in Hiram.
Cooper Gallant had three RBI, including a two-run homer in the third inning. He drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh to make it 5-3, and Evan Moody drove in the final run with a sacrifice fly.
Donovan Harvey scored twice for Sacopee Valley. Owen Barsanti struck out 10 and allowed four hits in 6 1/3 innings.
