POLAND 7, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 6

Colby Dolley’s walk-off triple capped a five-run bottom of the seventh inning that lifted the Knights (3-5) to a Route 26 rivalry win over the Patriots (1-5) in Poland.

Poland entered the final frame trailing 6-2. Landon Cooper’s two-run RBI got the Knights within two, then Will Stanford and Eliot Rioux each drove in a run to tie the game and set up Dolley’s heroics.

Rioux led Poland with three hits, while Shawn West (double) and Aiden Bean finished with two apiece. Bean also pitched the final three innings, allowing only one hit, to earn the win.

Gray-New Gloucester built its big lead with a four-run fourth inning. Gage Rioux and Landon Wilson each had two hits and Mason Amergain doubled for the Patriots.
