The Lakers (4-3) scored two runs in the first inning and held on to beat the Capers (3-2) in Cape Elizabeth.
Adyn Breton pitched five innings to earn the win. He allowed six hits, struck out four and walked four.
Shane Plummer led Lake Region’s offense with three hits.
Max Hayward pitched 6 2/3 innings for Cape Elizabeth, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out seven and walking none. He also had two hits.
