Finn Connolly allowed three hits in six innings as the Capers (7-3) shut out the Wildcats (3-5) at Cape Elizabeth.
Connolly walked four and struck out four. Caiden Johnson allowed two hits with a strikeout in a scoreless seventh for the save.
Cape Elizabeth, which also totaled five hits, scored twice in the first and added another in the fourth.
Dom Grover and Alex Dimino had two hits each for the Wildcats.
