Maddox Cuddy of Forest Hills (4-7) pitched a two-hitter in a doubleheader opener, and Tyler Barber of Temple (1-7) struck out 12 of the 16 batters he faced in Game 2 while allowing only one hit as the teams split a doubleheader in Jackman.
Forest Hills won the first game, 10-0 in four innings. Temple prevailed in the second game, 3-0 in five innings.
Liam Achey led the Forest Hills offense in Game 1, going 2 for 3 with two RBI and two runs scored.
Barber got one of Temple’s two hits in the opener and had an RBI single in Game 2.
