The Rams (11-2) plated four runs in the top of the seventh inning to break a tie and survive a wild finish against the Warriors (10-4) in Newport.
Cony led 2-1 before scoring four runs in the sixth, but Nokomis answered with five runs in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game at 6-6.
Lance Theriault singled home two runs in the seventh to put Cony back on top. Theriault went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs. Parker Morin added two hits, including a two-run home run in the first inning, and drove in three runs. Anderson Noyes tripled and scored three runs, and Drew Linquist had a double.
Owen Sides, Owen Russell and Jeff Carr belted two hits apiece for the Warriors. Carr had two RBI, while Maddox Hawthorne doubled and drove in a run.
