Hudson Lufkin’s RBI single in the bottom of the seventh gave the Cougars (8-8) a walk-off victory over the Falcons (7-9) in Dixfield.
Dirigo jumped out to a 3-1 in the first inning. Mountain Valley scored three in the top of the fourth before the Cougars tied the game in the bottom half.
Trevor Crosby and Caiden Skidgell both had two hits and an RBI for Dirigo.
Josh Pollis got three of Mountain Valley’s four hits, including a double. He scored twice and drove in a run.
Kaeden Swan was the winning pitcher, tossing two hitless innings in relief.
