The top-seeded Phoenix (14-1) scored two goals in each quarter and advanced to the Class C South semifinals with a win over the Flyers (5-8) in Jay.

Spruce Mountain will host No. 4 St. Dominic (7-8) later this week.

Olivia Mastine scored four of the goals — one in each quarter — and assisted on two for Spruce Mountain. Brooklyn Fournier added one goal and a pair of assists.

Adell Pease, Avery Bessey and Aaylah Herrera also scored goals, and Mary Hamblin had an assist.

Waynflete goalie Mya Clark made 24 saves.
