The Trojans (11-2) scored three runs in the sixth inning to beat the Scots (7-6) despite getting just two hits.
Thornton took advantage of five walks and two errors. Noah Fullerton had a triple, scored a run and drove in a run, and Blake Bolduc added a single and two RBI.
Cameron Kirby pitched four innings of scoreless relief to earn the win. He allowed one hit, struck out six and walked one.
Garrett Secord allowed one earned run on two hits for Bonny Eagle. He also had a double, an RBI and scored a run. Gavin Saucier added two hits and Caleb Racicot had a double.
