Max Hayward and Zach van Huystee combined on a two-hitter as Cape Elizabeth earned an 11-0 win over Freeport in a five-inning Class B South baseball game Monday at Freeport.
Joseph Grela led the offense with two hits, and Finn Connolly had two RBI and two runs scored. Justin Strunk, Caiden Johnson and Henry Trowbridge also scored twice as Cape Elizabeth (10-4) won for the fifth time in its last six games.
Liam Emmons and Evan Holbrook got the only hits for Freeport (5-8).
