Leadoff hitter Jackson Holmes had two hits and scored three times as the Stags (5-1) beat the Rams (0-6) in Portland.
Liam Kalowsky added two hits and drove in two runs, while Johnny Bechard had two hits and Nathan Collins had two RBI. Nate Connor allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits to earn the win. He struck out five and walked two.
Linden McAuliffe had two hits for Deering.
