Luke Piper had a home run, double and drove in four runs for Greely (3-0), which took control with an eight-run first inning and defeated the Wildcats (0-1) at York.
Barron Silver drove in two runs and Rocky Axelsen added an RBI single in the first for Greely, which totaled 19 hits against five York pitchers.
Ben Kyles hit a two-run homer for the Rangers and Johan Clorius, who entered in the third, allowed one earned run over two innings to collect the win.
