Trent Lovewell struck out 15 batters and combined with Cayden Ball for a no-hitter as the Phoenix (2-4) took down the Bulldogs (2-5) in Livermore Falls.
Lovewell pitched the first six innings and Ball handled the seventh.
Blake Gemelli singled, doubled and drove in two runs for Spruce Mountain. Brayden Fournier (double) and Brody Veilleux also had two RBI apiece.
Madison used seven walks and six Spruce Mountain errors to manufacture six runs. Starting pitcher Griffin Dickey struck out six in 2 2/3 innings and reliever Jayden Horton fanned five in his 2 2/3 innings on mound.
