Parker Soule-Parent hit a two-run homer in the first inning and finished with three RBI and two runs scored as the Mustangs (2-0) defeated the Rams (2-1) in Kennebunk.
Henry Marcotte scored three runs for the Mustangs, who broke the game open by producing five runs over the final two innings. Soule-Parent, JT Barden and winning pitcher Emmett Carroll each had two hits, and Nolan Pomerleau and Trent Tyler both scored twice.
Noah Burnham drove in two runs and Mason Alexander had two hits for Kennebunk.
