The Rams (3-11) scored four runs in the first inning and held on to defeat the Bulldogs (0-13) at Hadlock Field.
Finn Ridge hit a two-run single and Liam Brunelle added an RBI single. Brunelle finished with three hits, including a triple.
Deering’s Miles Lawrence pitched a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks.
Neiker Fuenmayor had two hits and Bailey Jordan struck out seven for Portland.
