Matthew Hebert was 3 for 4 with a double, three RBI and four runs scored as the Spartans (1-3) won a five-inning game against the Eagles (1-3) in Windham.
Brady Boissonneault also drove in four runs and Max Cote had three RBI for Sanford, which scored two runs in the first, four in the second and eight in the third.
Winning pitcher Cayden Gendron allowed only one hit and an unearned run over four innings. He struck out four and didn’t issue a walk.
