Four South Portland pitchers combined on a three-hitter as the Red Riots (8-0) shut out the Rams (1-8) in Portland.
Ben Morin, Shea Healy, Brady Main and Nate Masters struck out a total of 11 batters as the No. 1 team in the Varsity Maine Top 10 played for the first time in seven days.
Hudson Iacuessa, Cam Barrett and Healy led the Red Riots with two hits apiece. Iacuessa drove in two runs, and Jude Charltray hit a bases-loaded triple in the seventh inning.
Anthony Profenno hit a double for Deering.
