Ben Morin struck out 14 without walking anyone and gave up only two hits as the Red Riots (12-1) shut out the Rams (5-9) in Kennebunk.
South Portland, the No. 2 team in the Varsity Maine Top 10, took the lead in the first inning on a two-run single by Hudson Iacuessa. Alex Baerga-Figueroa added an RBI single in the fourth, and Cam Barrett hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
