Zane Foyt had two hits, two RBI and scored twice to lead the Mustangs (13-1) to an 8-0 win over the Phoenix (2-11) in the first game of a doubleheader in Monmouth.
Rory Foyt had two hits, two RBI and scored three times, and Monmouth won the second game, 14-0.
In the first game, Noah Schultz added two hits, including a double. Kyle LePage and Gavin Parsons combined on a no-hitter.
In the second game, Parsons had a single and a double.
