Jude Charltray scored four runs, Brady Main drove in two runs, and the Red Riots (14-1) turned back the Golden Trojans (11-4) in South Portland.
Hudson Iacuessa (5-0) gave up a season-high 10 hits over 6 2/3 innings but pitched out of trouble with the help of 12 strikeouts. He also belted an RBI triple to open the scoring in the first inning.
Shea Healy and Parker Reny each chipped in with an RBI single.
Blake Bolduc and Brennan Tabor had RBI singles for Thornton.
