The Eagles (1-2) scored five runs in the top of the first inning without hitting the ball out of the infield and held on for a win over the Bulldogs (0-3) at Hadlock Field.
The big inning featured five walks, a hit batsman, two infield hits and two wild pitches.
Mason Rulman and Sullivan Nappi both had two hits for Windham. One of Rulman’s hits was a double.
Portland got two hits each from Neiker Fuenmayor and Jacob Johnson. Aiden Eisenhart added an RBI double.
