Abby Trainor recorded seven goals and two assists to lead the defending state champion Eagles (14-2) to a berth in the Class A semifinals with a win over the 11th-seeded Capers (7-9) in Windham.

Neve Ledbetter added four goals and four assists for Windham, the No. 2 team in the Varsity Maine poll. Olivia McPherson added two goals, while Mady Donnelly, Morgan McLain and Brooklyn Roy each had one. Avery Adams stopped four shots.

Lulu Stoecklein, Zabina Zimmerman, Audrey Higgins and Lucy Backman scored for Cape Elizabeth. Ella Boyer made two saves.
