Senior Nate Grunkemeyer’s 17 points helped the fourth-seeded Rams (11-8) pull away late and secure a win over the fifth-seeded Blue Devils (10-9) in a Class A North quarterfinal.
Bangor took a double-digit lead into halftime but was outscored 18-5 in the third quarter and fell behind 35-32.
Thanks to Grunkemeyer’s efforts, the Rams responded with a 22-8 surge over the final eight minutes.
Grayson Bernard, a junior, led Lewiston with 14 points.
