The fifth-seeded Eagles held the No. 4 Trojans to their fewest points of the season to claim a Class B North quarterfinal win at Cross Insurance Center.
Jackson Barry had 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead Ellsworth (15-4), which will play No. 1 Cony in the semifinals Wednesday afternoon. Colby Eaton and Eli Holler each chipped in with 10 points.
James Witham scored 16 points for MDI (15-4).
