B South quarterfinal: #9-Gray-New Gloucester vs. #1-York

at Portland Expo

Monday, February 16, 2026

York 63, Gray-New Gloucester 45

Henry Mirick paced the top-seeded Wildcats (18-1) with 21 points in a Class B South quarterfinal win over the ninth-seeded Patriots (6-13).

Gray-New Gloucester tested York in the first half, with the Wildcats carrying just a 23-19 lead into the break.

York’s full-court pressure and overall defensive presence took the Patriots out of their rhythm in the second half, however.

Callan Forbes finished with 13 points for the Wildcats, who will play No. 4 Yarmouth on Wednesday.

Carter Corson (15 points) and Kaleb D’Andrea (14 points) paced the Patriots.
