Colton Scheve recorded 32 points and eight steals, leading the fourth-seeded Cobras (12-7) past the fifth-seeded Wolverines (12-6) in a Class C South quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center.

Many of Scheve’s points came in transition.

“I think I had like 32 or something like that, and all of them were off fast break, so that’s where my game is,” Scheve said. “Coach (Dave Pepin) helped me learn that. He’s been helping us develop really well.”

Pete Vicneire dropped in two key 3-pointers for the Cobras and finished with 11 points.

Wiscasset got within two in the third quarter, but Carrabec finished the quarter on an 8-0 run to take a 45-34 lead into the fourth.

Julien Kin led the Wolverines with 16 points. Spencer Pinkham scored 12.
