Brennan Mitchell had 27 points and 14 rebounds as the top-seeded Roadrunners (15-4) dominated in a Class D South quarterfinal.
Mitchell was 11 for 12 from the free-throw line. Mt. Abram made 20 for 26 free throws.
Killian Pillsbury scored 17 points for the Roadrunners, including a pair of 3-pointers to open the game as they built a 10-0 lead in the first two minutes.
Chase Ross added 12 points.
Mitchell scored Mt. Abram’s first eight points of the third quarter as the lead grew to 50-26.
Trot Moody had 25 points and five steals for eighth-seeded Old Orchard Beach (6-13), while Jackson Stanton added eight points. Caleb Dupree scored seven points, including a half-court 3-pointer to end the third quarter.
Mt. Abram, which won the Class C state title last season, will face No. 4 Carrabec in the semifinals Wednesday.
