Henry Armell and Aiden McFarline each notched a goal and three assists to pace third-seeded Hampden/Ellsworth/MDI/Nokomis (12-6-1) to a Class B North quarterfinal victory over sixth-seeded Presque Isle/Caribou/Central Aroostook/Wisdom (6-13) at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.
Reid Dugal, Brody Miller, Miles Shields and Wyatt Allen also scored for Hampden, and Aiden Surran stopped 17 shots.
Logan Caron tallied Presque Isle’s goal. Ethan Bosse made 35 saves in the loss.
