Alex van Huystee scored with 5:53 left in regulation to break a tie game and lift the Cape Elizabeth boys lacrosse team to a 13-12 win in Yarmouth.

The Capers (6-0) held a four-goal lead in the second quarter but the Clippers (5-1) went on a 6-0 run in the third and fourth periods to take an 11-8 lead with just over seven minutes left.

Keegan Lathrop and Bobby Offit each scored three goals to lead Cape Elizabeth. Connolly, Sam Cochran and van Huystee each had two goals while van Huystee also had four assists.

Will Redfield made 15 saves for the Clippers.
